Douglas County Socialization Group
Douglas County Socialization Group meets once a month. We do a different activity in the community every month. This helps us build a support network of peers, go out to activities that we might not be able to participate in, and helps us learn about activities to enjoy that we might not have in the past. Each activity helps promote recovery, peer support, socialization, coping skills, etc.
Past activities have included:
- Pontoon rides
- Coffee & pie
- Movies
- Museums
- Picnics
- Ice cream sundaes
- Bowling
- Nature Walks and more
